have airleaks on my 02 blaster. i know for sure the crank seals are bad(comes out vent tube for tranny). easy way to pull/install these? checking youtube and i cant find any vids on how to do the seals. wanna make sure its right so i dont seize up the fresh rebuild.

Use a screwdriver to pry out the old seals. Use a deepwell socket to tap them back in. the one is behind the clutch basket so take your time. Not a hard job at all.

Don't pry at the seals with a screw driver, the smallest scratch in the diamter/hole that the seals go in will cause an airleak. Your supposed to put screws in the old seals 180' apart from eachother and pull the screws evenly with pliars or what not. Also just because oils coming out of the vent tube that doesny mean your seals are bad ... You probably have too much tranny oil in the transmission/bottom end. I would check that first being that draining and refilling your trans oil takes leas than 5 minutes, replacing the oil seals takes much longer.

Did you perform a leak test?

dont have oil coming out of vent tube, i have air coming out. i leak tested previously to the new seals. after installing seals i had misfourtune of hitting a deer at 40 mph on my gas saver(scooter) so havent been able to work on it since
