I don't see how touching your reeds could be bad atall, there's going to be gas and 2 stroke oil all over them when in use.

when they crack or when you can bend one of the petals and cad can touch the tip of the reed stop haha

i was told that since i got reeds and a reed cage that i need reed spacers or the reeds will break.
any truth in that?
