i just bought a 99 blaster its bored .30 over and thats it just ordered 14 tooth sprocket what else can i do to make this quad faster besides buyin an exhaust lookin for one now

um get a 240BB kit, ugrade reeds, Port and Polish, advance timing, Air intake, stroker crank. that is all expensive though. dont know how much you are lookign to spend.

i am lookin for an exhaust now and i can get a 28.5 mm carb for a good price should i get this or will i have to buy other upgrades for the carb to work

will i need to buy anything else like i think i heard someone say when you get up over 28 mm you got to get a jet kit do you have to or how much are they or what

i got my 28mm for like 40 bux it bolts right in all u need is a dif. clamp to hold it to your intake boot but other than that jets r 2.50 each but u may not even need to if u dont have an exhaust. but jetting is easy once u get the carb open it and check the size in it and we can help determine around wat size u may need.

so i should try and get the carb and still lookin for a pipe just oredered a k&N air filter what other upgrades are kind of cheap that i should get next

as far as the carb. you will almost def have to rejet it. carbs don't usually come jetted for a particular bike, in fact your carb might not even have any jets in it at all depending on where you get it. either way, you'll most certainly want to jet the carb to your particular engine and altitude. elevation plays a huge role in jetting.
imo, the biggest most efficacious mod i've done was the port and polish. had kennedy_power do it and that is EASILY the single most effective mod i've done. his p&p and headwork gave me more juice than the airbox lid mod, the vforce3, filter, pipe whatever. p&p and headwork by someone who knows what they're doin will make an ENORMOUS boost in power.
of course all engine work on a 2stroke is founded on exhaust. you have to decide what you want out of your bike at the beginning and go from there.
if you ride trails mostly and want bottom end power more than top, then you need a pipe that will give you that, then have the p&p done to match the exhaust parameters. and headwork to compensate for anything lost.

ok well i do ride on some trails but not all the time we ride alot in open fields and different things what would be the best pipe for a combination of trails and open riding but i also want to be able to get the most speed lol if this can all be done in one pipe

honestly everyone hates on fmf but u can get a used fmf pipe and silencer for like 100 bux on here. look in the for sale. i have one and i like it as long as u dont have a fully build engine its good.

ok so an fmf pipe will that be good bored .30 over and a might go another .30 over with a bigger carb would it still be a good pipe

i run the stock carb fmf pipe stroker+3 and v3 reeds. plenty of power! will pull the wheels up in 3rd if u want have 20 in tires with 14 tooth front. great trail bike and not bad in the drags either!
