well i just got my 02 blaster up and running and now im trying to get it looking good but i dont like the look of the full fenders and i dont have the money to buy aftermarket fenders i was looking at the raptor plastics but i think i want to just cut mine can anyone help me :-/

take a whiteboard marker (one that can be washed off) and draw the cut lines on the fender till oyu think you found one you like.

if i had stock fenders, this is how i would cut them

I just used a dremel with a cutting disc, then put sandpaper around a block and sanded it clean. After I was all finished, I hit it with a heat gun to get rid of all the imperfections from sanding. I modeled my front fenders after RippinItUps blaster on BlasterHQ. Took about 20 minutes.

well i just cut one front fender and i think i like how its looking so ima do the other one and get started on the rear and i will have pics soon

It always seems easy after the fact. I:I Biggest key to shaving fenders is using your imagination and creativity while only taking so much of the fender off at a time. You can go so far and then if you want to take more off for what you want, then go for it and take more off.

why is it that some people ride with no front fenders on i tried that once and all i got out of it was a face full of sh!t i mean it looks ok but it doesnt stop anything from coming at you

yeah i know what you mean just flipping the front tires makes it wider so yeah your right it still flings stuff up with full fenders so really just go for looks huh

mine is wide enough to throw the mud around my arm area and not so much my face.

Yeah riding without fenders gets you as dirty in 20 minutes as it would in 30 with the fenders. And they are like parachutes and drag like no other.
