How to check vin #

New to the forum I've looked around and haven't seen a thread yet. just wondering if you guys have a good site to run vin's... Looking at picking up another blaster for my son. Bike comes with no title and the guy selling it on Craigslist doesn't know any info other than where he got it from? Any help would be nice. It's a hell of a deal. But I won't be getting it if it's a "steal"....

Get the vin, and have the local DMV run it, thats the only way i know

Make sure you get a bill of sale since it has no title, keeps you at a safe point

no, if nothing came back it was never reported as an insurance claim

Sorry to hear about 95blast! That blows! It's a deal I can't pass up! $250 for an 04 with an aftermarket pipe! Guy says it has a cracked head which I'm hoping means bad cylinder and nothing in the cases but preparing for the worst...

Funny story! I made my screename when I rode a kx 250 and had just bought a blaster for here. It ended up needing a top end and the cylinder was on its last bore. So the mod bug bit me and I did the +4 240 motor. After that she didn't like it. I LOVED it and sold my kx and adopted the blaster. We are going to get her a utility quad for here.
