I was wondering how much it is going to cost me to have my two halves of my crankcase sealed back togather because I have a leak and am needing it fixed

It shouldn't cost much for the yamabond, less then $10.00. Shops around here charge about $60.00 an hr. Probably take them 2hrs, maybe? That is if they are real familiar with a blaster motor. You could also save some time by taking off your top, kick starter and shifter yourself. just a guess on how long it'd take them

thats like the same question lol.

labour, probably 300 bucks. maybe. they wanted to charge me 600 to put a new crank in sooo... whatever your local shop charges per hour, its like a 3 hour job i think.

well I can pull my motor my self but thats about all I know really how to do myself, the dude that works on my fourwheeler said if I pulled the motor myself that would save me a sh*t ton but thanks for the info... I know i am still able to ride it but I hate to ride it leaking oil...oh yea another thing I was wondering is how much one of those hotrod cranks cost... someone said if i have them open the bottem end i might as well have them through one of these in to what do you guys think

I'd go with the vito's +3mm stroker crank. You can pick one up for about $150. You might aswell replace your main bearings too, while its apart.

yeah what stroker said.

curious, did you buy your blaster with everything on it? cuz it looks pretty nice but you dont seem to know the engine that well. not trying to be mean, but im just wondering. love your a arms, gime dat sh*t.

hell yea thats what ill do just save a couple pennies up and slap that bad boy in there that will wake my sleeping beauty up a lil hopefully...but anyways is this the only mod i need to do by putting that in there

in reply to 89custom its kewl man yea I bought it that way the only thing i did was fix the lights on it and hasd a couple holes weilded up because the chain threw twice while I was out riding man but yea dude I deffantly think its a bad ass wheeler the only thing is it may already have a lot of sh*t done to it and I just dont have any idea whats done to it...only flaw in buying a wheeller already having stuff done to it

if it takes a shop 3 hrs to brake down a bottom end of a blaster you need to get a new shop. Should take 2 hours at most. Shop around and see what you can get.
