how much to rebuild ltz400/

hey guy sfond this , i'd like a project if it can get me a yfz someday! he says new cylinder so just bore it or a whole new one? i can also see if theres play in the crank if its stripped . i know its not gonna be cheap but what do you think? Suzuki Lt Z400 for sale in Cavan: €800 - DoneDeal.ie

just realised it said head not cylinder thats a valve job! :?

if it for sure needs a head then that will have you going but remember you got to get piston and rings with that I:I

what's wrong with the head? does it just need a valve job or cam or does it need a complete head assembly? theres a big difference and price between the two!!!

^^^not sure i will ask tomorrow but i can get a head(like new cond),cylinder and piston for 375 shipped! but would i need anything else apart from gaskets?thanks guys

well if it needs an entire new head that is a great deal and i would definitely go for it. but if it just needs a valve job or a cam then i wouldn't buy the entire head unless i had the spare cash just lying around.

Thats about 600-1000 us dollars right there depending on what parts you use.

If I was you I'd get a stroker crank, big bore jug/piston, cams and a 5-angle valve/head job.... May as well since it needs rebuilt. Go big or go home!

yea i realised but found one with good valves and cams for 80 morre but if i do get it ill try repair the one i get first lol
