ok my friend was riding his quad today (400ex) and he was running low on gas. a trail he knows come right by a gas station and he pulled up and was going to fill up. well a cop decided to pull up. he knew he could not run so he pulled out of the gas station and slow down to stop, AND THE COP SPED UP!! he almost smashed him head on. so my friend swerved. he thought wow since they are going to be like that, running. he got to the trail and his quad stalled. they RIPPED him off his 400ex and had a GUN to his head as his quad backed over him. they impounded his quad and the cop said he would be lucky not to have less that $1000 in fines. how far did that cop need to go?

Well bro, Cops can be hard asses most of the time, But your buddy should of stopped and talk to the cop told him the story and seen what happened. But he pissed the cop off so... However if your gonna make a run for it ya better not stall the quad out WOT until your in a sfe place!

Don't matter howe old he is he fled, and they can consider his quad a weapon, you know it's always their word against yours...


The cops around here are pretty cool, but the judge is a F-n a-hole. My kids go to school with his kids and his kids are a-holes too. example: they were at a party, and there way underage drinking, yes my kids were there too, and guess who's kids didn't get in trouble! I also have been before him for tradffic violations, pure ahole! I really have no respect for people who think there sh*t don't stink!

Woods by our house will be posted by the end of summer. Almost guarantee. You ride respectfully, but some of the people that go down there aren't at all. Today a certain neighbor with very red hair and very f*ckheadlike was looking in the woods for something, I bet for anything to get us booted out. You guys need to be careful not to draw too much attention around here. Especially with the new police neighbor. We are out of his jurisdiction, but I bet he knows people in our area.

I'm seriously about ready to punch that Josh kid in his face. He's the big offender, and needs to learn a lesson. But you're one of the only people that go at a reasonable speed. You guys don't have to be turtles, but don't draw attention.

Our area is a low-profile area, we should do the best to keep it like that. The more people that know about it / use it, the quicker it will be shut down.

The fact of the matter is a lot of people do run on quads, so unfortunately the police tend to be more aggressive in stopping them. When he decided to run, he was evading the police, therefore rightfully deserving the consequences.

even if the kid stopped to talk to the pig i bet he still would have gotten impounded and all that anyways. sounds like your cops suck.......at my gamps place everytime i would start my bike the sherriff would roll by to make sure i wasnt in the road

Cops pull guns on people kids or not that evade in cars......I fail to see how it's any different on an ATV.

we hav a no chase law in Florida, to many wana be Dale Earnhardt Cops thinking they can drive that fast and end up killing people, mostly chasing people on motorcycles,
