any info on what good clutch plates should look like and what shouldnt look like would be helpfull and how to check the baskets and hub for wear and how to take that damn bent washer out too.
All good stuff that is in the manual (I know you have one). Engine teardown section. Clutch plates and frictions have a minimum thickness. Measure with a micrometer or or vernier caliper. Stuff about the basket in there too.
Visually look for obvious wear and discoloration, but measuring is the right way.
