how do i wire in a voltage regulator?

I ordered one off ebay.what and how exactly do I connect this into the system.id really like pics of specific instructions if anyone has a few mins and they could snap a few pics of how its supposed to be done.

In the pic you'll see a blue wire, just plug it in as the picture shows and make sure your regulator is tightly fastened to the frame with a good connection for a ground. If you purchased an aftermarket regulator it'll have a ground wire instead of just grounding through the unit itself, this wire will just need to be fastened to the frame with a good connection. Hope this helps you with the install.

Its a used stocker.Where's that blue wire going?I'm starting over from scratch all I have in my wiring is the cdi unit and the wires from the stator.all the lighting and such were already gone when I got it I just rewired what I already had since it sparked and worked the wiring was just old and hacked.

the blue wire will tap into the yellow/red wire coming from the stator, which goes straight to the light switch to provide power for all the lights, the blue wire "T" taps into that and absorbs any voltage over 13 volts, and like stated above, it grounds thry its metal case, so make sure to scrape any paint off where it bolts on the frame as shown in the pic above, and use a nice new shiny bolt

Ok I think I got it so ill run past you guys my unnderstanding of how it should be done.ill take the blue and y/r wire straight to a but connector together and from the other side ill go straight to my switch from my switch to the positive side of the lights and ground the negs to the frame?if I'm correct that sounds simple enough.lol maybe I over thought this?

Lol I. Just wanted to be absolutely sure.wiring is the only thing I get spooked on.don't know why it just hangs me up and it usually ends up being me over thinking it.good to know though bro I really appreciate it and your patience.
