Carrier bearings can be a real pita. There are many methods to try, and all have had success. For the carrier, I always like to use a drift punch and set the carrier on two pieces of wood. Then, you have to manuever the drift punch in there while pushing the spacer tube to the side. Work it 1/4 turn at a time, and use a good 5lb hammer at least. You can only catch the inner race of the bearing, but don't be afraid to hit it. lol
For the fronts, I would install the hubs on some front rims first, so you don't scratch the pc'd parts. Then, also use a drift punch and a 5lb hammer and go to town. Also, as said earlier, soaking them in a little penetrating oil and sitting overnight will help out a lot. Good luck with it.
