how big is to big for a 02 blaster

im 6'1" 230 lbs and I ride a blaster. It is my first quad as well. it is a great starter bike but i can already start to see how i will get over it being so limited pretty quick. It also depends on the riding you are doing though. when I am in dirt it is plenty of quad for me but i like to go to the sand and there is just so much more i could do on a bigger quad.

all blasters are oil injected from the factory.. my 2001 is.. well was and my wifes 93 was..

and im 5 11 255 and i rock the sh*t outta my blaster!! i ride it like amad man.. and it will bot 300ex's to shame all day long with me riding...

i def should be on something bigger.. but the right 250r hasnt come along yet :)

ok the same guy that was going to sell me the stock blaster for 1000 is going to sell his moded one for 1500 its got new gears racing tires injector kit and pipes is it a good deal?

well there are two BIG THINGS about the 03+ they have hydro brakes and the 89-02 have drum and mechanical brakes which suck soo much! and you being a big person those mechanicala nd drum brakes wont work so good, hell even with my skinny 125 pound body my old 96 blaster didnt stop good, piece of sh*t mechanical brakes

Yea, hydraulic brakes are a must if ur a big guy. I know that this isnt the 4sale section and idk where u live, but if ur interested in a blaster with hydraulic disc brakes then check out the blaster in my sig. I'm selling it for $900 obo

sorry to bring up an older subject but even my 89 had oil injection which was immediately blocked off by my friends dad who bought it brand new in 89 it is a definite must.

its all good i had no clue what the resivoir was for until someone saw it in the bed of my truck and said "is your oil injection hooked up or do you have it blocked?" huh? so then he told me about it i didnt know they put it on something that old and just never really looked into what the resivoir was for just knew it was empty when i got it and there were no hoses hooked up to it lol
