I have an 03' blaster it's a great quad with a whole crap load stuff done too the motor and a few extras but the handling is horrible the front end is all stock shocks and a arms but I have 2inch wheel spacers in the front wheels if I took those off would it help the handling. What are some good upgrades I could do to the suspension.

If you buy Flush Valve stems you Can Flip your Front wheels and Gain some Ground that way , Allot of people have been Getting Extended A arms and Swing arms To make them More Stable , Look up sicivicdude on here , He Makes Extended A arms !

Get yourself a pair of nice shocks. Works, Elkas, YFZ450, KFX450. They are all great shocks. They are rebuild-able and fully adjustable to fit your riding style, weight, A-Arm length etc.

A cost effective improvement is OEM Banshee front shocks and 400ex rear, both are basically bolt on's ( Banshee fronts are a direct swap and the 400ex rear needs a little modification, you can buy the spacers and bolt needed from KOR and then it's just drilling out the hole in the bottom mount of the shock). I just got the banshee fronts on, and they are an amazing improvement for the $40 I spent on them. I haven't used the 400ex rear yet, it will go on when I get my extended swing arm finished. Spacing the center point of the front tires farther away from the turning radius of the spindle will make steering harder and effect handling but someone else would have to explain the details. Maybe civic will see this and help, he knows all about this stuff.

The 2' spacers should not change the handling.

I would be looking at the toe in/out adjustment if it handles badly on corners.

Stock shocks make for poor handling.

sicivicdude makes extended arms and you can also.get some asr &rms on ebay for a decent price. Banshee/raptor 350/warrior front shocks are all the same and arent elkas but they are better than stock.

I have to agree with dksix that the OEM Banshee front shocks and 400ex rear are an extremely cost effective improvement. He has the Banshee shocks and I have the LTZ (same as 400ex) rear shock. Combine that with lowering tire pressure to 3-4psi and a 2-3" swing arm lengthen and you can take jumps and bumps with confidence.

My son has the wheels spaced out an inch without too much bad effect.
You have to understand the difference between handling and roll stability.
You can have one without the other. I prefer good handling as I can stand on the pegs and supply active roll stability.
