The new motor weighs about ~110 lbs. The frame will hold up fine. I'm sleeveing the frame and adding gussets and reinforcing tubes. As for the swing arm I won't extend it yet until i see how it rides since the frame is extended. There might be enough center mass to keep it where I want it

My dad wanted to see what it would look like with the front flairs reattached. They need to be trimmed a little because of the motor. As you can see they are crooked and just laying there. Might do something with the old gas tank cover to cover the air box. Not sure yet.
So here is what I did today.
-Trim front fairings
-Temporary mount gas tank
-Make gas tank barb
-Work on Pegs
Trimmed the back of the front fairings. Just need to make another mount so there is more than 1 bolt holding it on.
This is where the tank will sit for now... NOW I know you are saying "ZZZZZZZZZZOMMMGGGG WHEN YOU CRASH YOU WILL BLOW UP!!!!!!!!!!!!?!?!@?$!@$$%&" Well what I am doing is making some spacers/risers to raise it off the frame so it isn't directly on it and there will be rubber bushings. ALSO I will be making a new "hood" to cover the gas tank. Probably 3/16 thick.
Here is what I did with the pegs. My dad was telling me how his friend's legs got sucked under the wheel and wrapped around the rear axle so this is what i did.
Here is what I am doing with the fuel tank. The new motor has a pump with 3/8 fuel line so the old petcock won't work.
Still in the completely rough stage. And for being rough and having no sealer it actually held a complete seal with no leak.

i like the heel gaurds, maybe a wrap of split hose glued on, to keep the sharp edges from "getting you" ????
He said his friend was screaming and they were kinda laughing bc they were just kids... kinda messed up lol. I still need to finish them. I need to pull the guard in more and trim some of the outside off so it's not so close to the tire. Just something I was messing around with while I wait for tubing
My friend has a arm skids, underbody skid, rear skid, nerfs and some hand guards that he has just laying around. I can pick them all up for $50 BUT they are off of a banshee.... Does anyone know if they will just bolt on?
Well i know it wouldn't fit on the under body but I was just wondering if it were the same shape, that way I can just make a center section or a rear section. Also a arm extension kit for $50? 3" add on each side
Boy u aren't wasting any time here! Looks fantastic, May i suggest a filter on the gas line since you eliminated the ones in the tank.

No... that's not the extension cord lol. That's how thick the new battery and starter wire is.
If I run open carbs the gas tank cover will fit. This would work great if i was drag racing but oh well
