Honda TRX250 or Raptor 250???

raptor 250. The new 250ex's suck ass. shaft driven slow as hell and really not all that reliable. My friend had one and it sucked, needed new piston and sh*t this summer and it was only an 07. He traded it in for a ltr 450, lol

No choice in the matter really.... Not just because it is a Yamaha, but because of the purpose each quad was built for... The Raptor was set up for more of a intermediate skilled rider (better suspension, better engine, better overall dynamics, no reverse, blah blah blah) where the TRX is a beginners quad (shaft drive, clutch or clutchless, and SLOOOWWW).

Good luck with your choice.

Can't you spend the money on it on your blaster?

Out of the two though the Raptor.
My mate use to have the Honda, and it felt super tippy round corners and everything.

its not for me, im happy with my blasty!!! its for my little brother (13 year old) we got him one of those cheap chinese bikes, and its starting to fall apart, so were looking for a new bike thats not too fast, but fast enough to keep up with us

Hmm either would be good, but I truly believe he will outgrow/outskill a TRX alot quicker than the Rap 250.

It may take a little more to get used to the Rappy, but it will be better in the long run.

i know this might sound kinda bad on blasters, even thought i have one and really love everything about it, but i had to do alot to it to make it not have problems, such as the oil block off kit and rear brake problems...were just looking for a bike that we can just buy and ride, cuz were kinda tight on cash.

Id say the raptor, but you may also find the Honda to be the lowwer maintance of the two, but it just really depends on what u prefer! but id get the raptor cause there's gonna be more of a mod selection for them before long then the Honda!, I got the old lady an 08 z250 (basically same as honda) and so far its beat up on the 250 ex's and even a stock blaster! but i find the shaft drive to be more relaible and lower maintace then the raptor 250! but for the little bit she rides it dont really matter, but whatever your choice may be, they are all nice lil beginner machines and you'll be suprised how well they keep up with a piped blaster on the trails!
