honda Cr125 rezzie shock..

I got a good condition rezzie rear shock off a honda cr125 dirt bike for free... how much of a improvement is this over my stocker??? granted shocks are like pipes, anything is better than stock, since dirt bikes normally have good suspension for the hard jumps and what not, this should be a great addidtion to my quad correct???.. seeing.. #1 its off a dirt bike... #2 is a rezzie shock and #3 its not a blaster shock

om ok with the fronts right now.. just the rear lacks... wheni ride hard threw rouch stuff my front tires are bairly touching the ground, since im on the throttle hard and leaning back.. gotta work my body to abzord alot of the bumps, and that tires you out fast!! .. i hope this works out

I was just curious and was looking up the cr125 weight. That shock came off a 192lb. bike. The blaster is 324, so that's 132lbs more on that shock. It could be soft, or hopefully the gas adjusts enough because those shocks don't have much preload adjustment on them. Who knows it might work really well.

hmm. thanks for the info, well if it fails i can get a ready to go banshee rear for $40, or one for free that needs a rebuild, i been watching craigslist for ppl parting out bigger sport quads,

it would be really soft but u can get it re valved....banshee rear wont work u want a 400ex if this dont work

sorry guys no i didnt, firned didnt stop by tell like 20 min ago... so maybe tommrow, even though its supposto snow... i wonder if my buddy will notice if his rear is swapped out on his lt250r sittin on my trailer lol

The banshee shock is to small.

yeah, sits lower..
side by side the cr is like 3-4 inches longer than the stock blaster shock, with adjuster on the rezzie..
soft/hard. i cranked itt o hard and gonna try to get the shock on tommrow, i need a bolt and some washers
