Homade Wiring harness

My harness is trashed, was thinking i could get some same color wire and some but connectors and make my own. Any reason why this is a bad idea? Maybe easier for water to get in and corrode? I would use the heat shrink connectors. Thanks guys

sounds like you're on the right track, so long as you're using shrink wrap and good connectors there's no reason it can't be just as good or better than the stock one

Every blaster ive owned i made my own wiring harnesses. As long as you have the diagram and wires, youll be good to go.

try to use the same size/gauge wire, and di-electric grease is good for the removeable connectors

I'm a big fan of soldering myself. Beats crimpys all to hell.
