Hey guys, i own a 1994 Rm125. im wanting something i can ride in the rain and snow, so i decided on a quad. i really like how small and light blasters are, so i decided to sell my bike and buy one. so right now im in the process of selling my bike. im wanting to put a banshee motor in it, but can anyone tell me if it will fit without huge amounts of work? i dont really want to cut up the frame a whole lot

welcome to the forum .. i think u would be better off just buying a banshee,, then putting a shee motor in a blaster, cause it would take a good bit of work to get it to work properly ..

huh, that sucks. im too poor lol! does your blaster lack alot in power? compared to rm125's and ltz400's?

the work would be unreal. where are you gonna house that big shee radiator on that little blaster. i bet it would cost just as much if not more to put a shee motor in your blaster then to just mod the blaster motor. big bore, port and polish, stroker crank.

that sounds like the way to go. i plan on water cooling it eventually though, there was a plugged water pump on the motor i looked at, maybe i could make it functional...

hmm... im liking what ive been reading about the blasters, im going to go all out on the aftermarket if i do get one. i just dont know about the elka suspension

elka is really nice. works is good too. but there are other options if you want a cheaper shock upgrade. front-banshee, yfz 450, 400ex so on and so on. rear- same as above. you just have to know what you are doing.
