My 2005 Blaster was running fine one day the for two days we had an icey rain and can't get it sstarted. We tried push starting it and would get it running but it would pop and blow really hard then die and won't kick start. Is there anything I can do to get it running.

if you left it out in the rain??
then check for rusted grounds
is the tors still hooked up?
new plug ngk b8es
fresh gas
stator cover full of water/it is by the foot shifter plastic/take it off and check for water
check the parking break if still running tors/unplug it at both ends,it is on the clutch lever:)

Was the air temperature a lot lower than other days, if so it could have caused a lean mix and damaged the piston.

Remove the header pipe and look up the exhaust port for signs of damage.

Check the compression first though.

Yes it went from about high 40s to freezing.

You will see if the piston and rings are damaged believe you me.

The temperature drops drastically one needs not to ride or change the jetting to suit the drop in temperature.

We unpluged that wire and tryed push starting it and it almost started but was acting like it wasn't getting any gas.

If I were you , I would check firs:
-If the spark plug has spark, it is easy,
-check the compression, the kick start is normal? easy to hand down?
-finaly check the pilot jet, at some point are blocked by olg gas and oil.

Spark plug has spark, it has compression, kick start is normal, and is the pilot jet in the carb.

either it is electrical
compression
or fuel related......
i know it sounds easy but you need to investigate all aspect.

if it ran fine when you parked it..i would get new plug/then clean the pilot jet in carb,
and while you are at it check the reed's
compression test with a compression tester not the feel of the kicker.

free flowing gas from tank to carb.....
search on here/type questions in your internet browser and im sure you can pin point it a lil
better and find the source of the problem.
then up date us with your findings and we can help:)

either the rain messed up your electrical or low compression fuel problem

here is a free manual.

here is your carb if it is stock....

Could the Reed valves be the problem if there cracked or busted.

Well... if you have good spark...fuel and compression it should start . Check for broken reeds . If they're ok you might have a sheared off flywheel key .
