so i went to do the break in process, and on the first heat cycle around 160-170 degrees, when i reved it about half throttle, maybe a little less, the motor sounded like when it reved down, it did it a lot faster, then once it hit rite before idle, it smoothed out. like it declearted pretty fast. i shut it off and kicked it over, and everything felt fine. dident feel no binding or nothin... maybe its just me, but what di you guys think?

How long did it take for the temp to come up?

Is it a forged piston, sometimes the temp can come up too quick if you get over playfull with the throttle.

Little throttle blips only on the first cycle with a forged piston.

its a weisco, and it came up pretty slow. slower then last time.

acceleration is fine... but once it declerates, it does it pretty quick until it gets to a little faster rmp then idle then it smooths out until idle. only noticed it when i blimp the throttle more then 1/4

btw fyi, my cat just farted while sleeping.

Chuck that cat out it is possibly the methane in the air that is causing the problems. Fishy farts are foul.

If the motor still seems loose, do a couple of short cycles at a lower temp and see if it still happens at a lower temp.

Be aware of noises and anything other than the norm.

It could pay to remove the pipe to see if the piston is still a happy chappie.

ight ill do that now. thanks :D

Just thinking, why do people feed cats fish, it is not a natural food for them, the little beggars are petrified of water.

make sure is easy to push in neutral. sometimes if you got a pre 2002, that rear brake if its dirty, seems to like to stick , causing drag.

or if its hard to tell, just touch the brake and disk, when you done riding, unless you use the rear brake allot or hit it hard. it should not be hot to touch it.

Something to check.
