HELP!!!!

[GF's Blaster]

new to this forum just got my GF a blaster and were r taking it apart to do the frame. everything came off real easy but the swingarm bolt. i have taken apart other quads and none have been this hard. jw if anyone knows any way to get it off. thanks

try spraying WD-40 or PB Blaster around it on both sides, wait a while for it to soak in, then try pounding it out with a sledge hammer. i wish i could help more but that's my best way of getting them out.

don't hit the threads directly with the hammer or you'll mushroom the threads. stand it on its side, and spray a TON of pb blaster in there and just let it sit for a few hours or over night

i have one of them srewdrivers its like wtf screw it that damn big
i soaked mine with pb blaster and taped it once with a hammer and it came right out

lack of grease in there is what caused the bolt to be "froozen" in there.
you might have to cut the head off and knock it out that way.

i wouldn't do that without out putting a piece of wood or somthing inbetween the the hammer and thread as you will damage the threads!

nut stuck on or is the pivot shaft stuck in the swinger. if the nut is stuck hit it with an impact. if the pivot shaft is stuck in the swinger bash it out is the only way. and like said above do something to protect the threads ie piece of wood or deadblow hammer

i diddn't when i was changing the axel bearings on my blaster but thats cause im a retard lol i just filed a little of the top where is mushroomed and it was fine !!

thats just how i am lol its a result of 300+ sunny warm days a year... why do you think all the northerners and north easterners are all grumpy and pms-ing lately...they havent seen the sun for about 3 months now lol

A good method is to leave the swinger bolt nut about halfway on so you can get some movement out of it but also protect the threads . Once you get it just flush or just inside the swinger bearings you can be less femenine with it . But once you are at that point pb blaster that bastard and let it do it's thing or use coca cola if you have no pb blaster it's not as slick but it's twice as corrosive lol!!!!!
