Help wth kick start

changed the left side case gasket had leak and now my kick start wont return on its own and its resting against the pipe will i do any internal damage if i let the spring just hang out in there not in place, when im riding around or do i need to take it all apart again reseal again and reseat the kick start thanks in advance

bump please help can i ride with the spring free balling or it needs to be reseated immediately

Well Since the spring is wrapped around the kickstart it would stay there without getting lost inside. I would say it would be okay for a bit as long there is no binding. The only thing is the spring tab being loose will scrape away at the insidecase over time, so I would fix it.

since i just put that gasket on today think i can get away with using it again

Yes you will be fine, I have reused my gasket 4 or so times. I use a gasket like that until it leaks or tears. There is nothing like getting it all back together then to realize you forgot something.
