Hey guys i was wondering i recently bought myself a little blaster to to drive around and also as a project bike.. Now this is my first experience with any 2-stroke engine.. So I'm trying to get some facts straight...

The guy who sold me the bike to me to Use full synthetic 10-w30 Motor oil in the oil base.. and also to mix my Gas 50-1.. I've read all over that for blasters 32-1 the proper mix... anyhow so here is the deal i mixed my gas this weekend..... 5L of Gas 100ML of oil and the bike runs horrible.. so then i put a little less oil in the next time and it runs A+ problem is i tried to mix it 50-1 again last night and my spark plug died....

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong mixing 32:1 seems like a lot more oil than I'm using now.. And i also found with more Oil the bike seemed lack power...

Your Carb could be gunked up inside, so i suggest cleaning it. Run it at 32:1 that is the best mix that you can do for it it, it also sounds like you might have to re-jet.

are you sure the blaster you bought has the oil injection taken off? kind of a dumb question but if its not ur doubling the amount of oil, causing it to run like crap like you say.

also not trying to make u look dumb or anything.

Not about making him look dumb, that was a good question.

We bought our used Blaster in Georgia, trucked it home to Florida, rode it twice, and THEN called the previous owner to find out if it was pre-mix or not.

JDUB86- If you post where you live in your profile, you may get a little local help with it. Or you can d/l the shop manual and then check it to see of the oil tank is still on it and still connected.

No the oil injection was removed by the previous owner. Im using motomaster formula 1 Premium 2-stroke mixing oil.

Think that would have anything to do with it?

try 40-1 that might help or re jet...... just wondering do u have a aftermarket pipe? if so carb would need rejetting

im running a stock pipe, and by re-jet do you mean remove them and clean them or purchase new ones..?

will do i just saw the DIY guide, I will do this tonight and see how it goes..
