Help with jetting

Hi all I am new on here and i am from across the pond in uk. The info I need is that I have Full exhaust phantom I think!!. Uni filter,power reeds,and no TORS and blocked oil feed and no lid on air box. The temp here is about frosty and cold !!!!!

i ran a similar set-up before, think i was using a 330 main,
so i'd start with a 330/340 to start, use plug chops to confirm each

not with the left bend f7/phantom exhaust.
maybe an fmf or pro circut
i ran a 330 main with very similar mods to his.
i switched to, and roughly pre jetted my 34mm carb right before sending my cylinder for porting

Thanks guys for the info I went with a 280 because that all the shopping had but I order a 330!!! I have 1 more question it feels a bit flat some times with the air box lid of and when I put the lid back on it is fine any ideas????? Cheers

Just a word of caution, before you go ripping on that, ya may want to do a plug chop, if you need a 330, and only run a 280, that cylinder isn't gonna last long! Putting the lid on can make ya jet it lower as it's getting less air!

I have just got hold of a 330 should I use that???? With or without lid??? My mods are listed at top of page cheers!!!

I would start with that 330 run it for 5 minutes, then put a fresh(new) plug in and do the plug chop as described in the link VVVV.

Yes no lid! I'd also be careful of water and soupy mud/snow those filters only protect so much!

if its losing power with more air that means you need more fuel. that must be seriously lean. dont run it like that, put in the 330 and try again
