Help On Oil

Hey I cannot find any yamalube for atvs to run in my 99 blaster but i do have yamalube for my waverunner is there any difference? they are both the same viscosity. 2w for water and 2s? for atv,cycle,snowmobile i cant imagine my motor would blow up over this any thoughts?

you know you can use other 2 stroke oils right? i use Valvoline and ive never had a problem

I always have used Valvoline 2 stroke motorcycle injector oil and have never had a problem

as long as its 2 stroke oil its fine, but dont get the cheap stuff

i accidentally picked up the wrong stuff one time and got marine 2cyl oil when i first got my blaster. I think the difference is how the motors are cooled. Air cooled vs water cooled but im not positive. It didnt mess anything up but i didnt run much of it through it. I ran amsoil dominator after that.

As long as the oil your running is made for the motor, you should be fine. If you have the injector pump hooked up you'll want to run injector oil. If its blocked off, you'll need premix oil.

is there really a problem if you run marine oil vs plan 2 stroke oil?
