just rebuilt the motor, kicked it over and it started but smokes like if never seen before... I thought it was the oil I used on the cylinder walls so I started to break it but has no power !

Leak test.

Heat cycle!

Re tension nuts!

Break in at no more that 3/4 throttle for 2 tanks of fuel.

The burning oil may be assembly oil.

What oil do you use.

I did the heat cycles an the retighten of all the top end bolts a couple time yesterday. I never did a leak test I'll go try it and let ya know thanks !

Must leak test, carb boot and reeds are notorious for leaking if over tightened!

3-5 heat cycles then re tighten once only!
