hi i am havin problems with a chinese quad i have
when i start it it just revs flat out and pushin an realesin the trottle has no effect but wen i let the choke on it revs a little bit less harder i dont know whats wrong any help apreciated
thanks

Sounds like the carb is not adjusted properly.Make sure the carb is attached firmly to the intake.
There should be a screw in the side where the slide goes up and down,(idle adjustment screw) back that screw out, then in about two turns.
Then find the other screw in the side of the carb somewhere,(maybe the other side) this will be the air/fuel mix (not the fuel drain) thread it in until it lightly seats then back it out one turn. Continue to adjust both until you have a smooth idle.
A lot of the time the carb on those things are too big for the engine and all it takes is a quarter turn out on the air/fuel screw, you kind of just have to fiddle with it until its running smooth.
Let me know if this helps, I have had several of those little buggers.
