so i got my little 79' suzuki mini bike idleing and running great, but its at .5 turns out on the air screw and pretty much all the way in on the idle screw. is that ok?

If you adjusted the air screw for the highest rev possible after the motor warmed up, then you are possibly OK.
That is saying you need a larger pilot (slow jet) as the weather gets colder doesn't leave any room for adjustment on the low end. But do-able
