Hello

a stock blaster is choked enough to where i would let him loose with one if it were my son. as long as he knows how to maintain and operate it safely and follows the rules. a blaster is perfect.

If you cant find a blaster i would recommened a raptor 250 both are great machines. But if possible get a blaster

Hello everyone. Just a quick introduction. I'm Clay, and I own an 06 se banshee. My son is wanting to start riding but I feel a banshee is too much machine for a beginner, so I am trying to decide which way to go. I was browsing around and found this site and was amazed at all the good information here. So here is what I'm thinking. Any input or help would be appreciated. I am trying to decide between a warrior or a blaster for my son. Obviously I feel two strokes are superior, but would the blaster be an appropriate choice for a beginner? Isn't it a little lighter and easier to handle than the warrior?

Thanks,

Clay

id go with the blaster or a 300ex

hey dude welcome to the greatest forum in the universe!!! jk I'm not that serious but yea I had a warrior for about the better half of a year and Traded it for a suped up blaster and when I added new reeds to it. I was grinning from ear to ear with excitement just starting it up. If you worried about a power overload on a blaster for your kid keep the pipe ,carb and motor in general stock untill he gets older and wants to play chicken with fear going WOT(wide open throttle) as much as possable. :D
lol BTW if you do get one one of the first 3 things just about anyone does to there blaster when they get them is. 1 Oil inject block off. So there's no guess work in how much oil is going into the engine. 2 Switch the redicolus 21 inch rear balloon tires in the back cause thew dont turns great/stabiity in fast turns. 3 Add an exhaust pipe cause just about anything is better than a stock exhaust. Except DG their the worst. just some things to think about I:I
