heel guards??

I dunno why you'd change to another set of plastic heel guards... go metal if you go aftermarket. My two cents. I'm sure they'd probably work though.

i have them, just mocked up though, but lots of people have them, u just need to make your own top bracket with flat stock, or if u are mechenicly challenge awk may make some for ya if you beg him lol ;p

yeah, i have them on my sons blaster, and actually have an extra set i got for mine, but decided to stick with the pro armor nerfs that need modded to fit my blaster, you'll need to make a set of new brackets for the top back mount

$50 shipped is around the right price

i tryed searching for this info but for some reason the search link isnt working for me today?? i am pretty sure i have seen a post showing the brackets that someone made to make these work...if i am remebering right could someone tell me where to find that again.

its relly not that hard man, you just mount them to the footpegs then bend some flat stock to work

cut some 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inch cardboard strips first, and use them to shape and length that you need, then copy/trace the length and bends needed to the metal

the shifter side is just a 90 degree bend, then a slight kickback to match the angle of the yfz mount rod

the kicker side is about a 30 degree bend, then a full 90 degree twist to match the mount

be sure to heat(not melt) with a torch whatever your bending/twisting, especially aluminum like i use, to prevent it from cracking

Just to throw it out there for the people that don't know.there very strong and are supported by a metal framing.not the plastic.
