Headlight problem

Hey guys quick question. I have all the wires hooked up on my headlight and the bulb is good. yellow wire is connected as well as green and the ground. the other two wires for the red light up top are connected and that works. But for some reason my headlight won't work and i cant figure it out. Does anybody know how to wire it. I wouldn't mind just rewiring it myself if i knew where to hook the yellow and green wires up to. thanks guys

did you maybe check for any shorts or the wire is maybe cut somewhere

I tried but the guy a bought it off of has all the wiring ghetto rigged so i was wondering if i could just attach some of my own wire to the bulb and put it wherever it needs to go

Maybe you are? Its a pretty easy diagram. Anyway it could be a bad regulator orthe source coil in the stator if it's wired right and there is no shorts

WHY? It's one of the easiest ones out there! I was ingnorant once to these but if ya go through it a couple times you can see how simple it really is.
