double nut the stud then use wrench,a ratchet wrench is nice if you got em
what you need em off for.....if you lock 2 nuts together and lefty losey the bottom nut it should turn off
i need them off of mine to put them on the cylinder i got from 2k cuz i guess he took them out of that one
ok so i will have to go outside in a lil bit to try to get them off and i gonna paint the new head and cylinder with some hi temp.i will give ya both some rep if it lets me
they are standard thread. righty tighty lefty loosey. but they are made to stay in when you torque the nuts down. so if you duble nut it you can pull em off tighten 2 nuts together, and loosen with the bottom nut. they should come right out.
as for painting with high temp, best way is to blast it in a sand balster, shoot it with quick dry high temp. if you can put some heat to it, it will set up. high temp paint doenst officially set up until theres heat put to it....and it tends to stick better when you roughen up the surface as you would with a sand blaster...just make sure not to hit the inside of the cylinder, and when the paint dries, give it a good cleaning...

not gonna worry about the little bit of paint on the inside of the dome on the head since its the head and cylinder will be goin to flotek
Well, I wouldn't of painted the top-end. My Blaster mechanic says it adds heat to your top-end. The cooler, the better i always say. Just lettin you know bro.
Still, I'm pretty positive that the Blaster top-end was bare aluminum when they came out of the Factory. Its up to you dude. Just stating the facts
