Just got my first blaster an 04. it has a uni filter fmf chamber stock (for now) silencer .40 vitos superstock piston,jetted. been searching the site for a bit,lots of great info. Are the vitos pistons any good mines got 15-20 hours on it,came with it. get mixed opions on them from here,are they forged or cast? use mine for woods and trails not a lot of high rpmrunning.

Run til it needs a rebuild. Unless your racing it, leave it alone. Make your upgrades out of necessity.

they are cast i believe, and i have not heard a good review about their pistons, or much for that matter, but as oregon says, leave it in there for now and put a wiseco in there next time

Welcome to the forum. Opinions are like a**holes. Everyone has one and they all stink. If it is working for you stick with it. Tons of bike out there and they are all running something different. Just like oregondunes said upgrade when you need to. Not because someone says what you have is junk.

the pic was from christmas day when i got it. It had a vito's 240 in it . oil line came off the pump,you know the rest.picked up a whole engine that needed a rebuild for 60 bucks. Now it has a wiseco 67mm. trying to talk dad into sending my vitos to ken for some work ,bore still good piston not so much. Rims,bumperand heel guards are black now and tank is gone.

Dad&i made the grab bar ,also made a rack that bolt to it with 4bolts. Made a leakdown tester to. next is skidplates out of signs we found. Got about 18" of snow last weekend so its not as much fun now
