i bought a real cheap 04 blaster and it has a lot of missing parts..headlight,brake light, grab bar..how do i know if i can put another grab there?i dont know where exactly it mounts or if they might have broke the mounts off..clymer manual is no help lol..info is great but pics would be better thanks

the rear grab bar mounts with 4 bolts, 2 on the inside of the shifter side of the frame
and 2 on the outer side of the kicker side
looking at the back, you'll see squared mounts welded onto the rounded frame tubes
find the 4 bolts holes and try a m8x1.25 bolt in them to check for stripped threads,
if the threads are stripped......
it is possible to reach into them squared mounts and hold a nut with needle nose pliers until the bolt starts threading into it, , then jamb it with a big flat screwdriver to finish tightening it.

ok i looked and the holes are fine but i noticed that the stock pipe is mounted to one of the rear ones,now should the pipe be in that mount?
ya the stock grab bar mounts there to i think it goes under the silencer ( not 100%sure ben along time synce iv had my stock one on it )but uses the same holo
