Got Blasted!

Thought I'd pop in here and introduce myself. I recently picked up a Blaster with a blown motor and found myself here shortly after searching for parts. I'm on the search for a new jug for the blaster and taking a look at the big bore kits and porting for some extra umph

Here are some crappy cell phone pics - it obviously has a custom swing arm on it, can't tell about the shocks, they don't look factory as well. I think it has an aftermarket rear brake setup as well.

i'd say those are stock shocks, but yeah man, get yourself a good pipe (not gonna mention any because it'll start a war lol) get that thing ported with a new carb and it'll rip!

welcome man the swingarm is stupid long lol....its gunna suck on the trails i would get a stock off ebay and put that on or i can extend a stock +4" for and that will work much better for ya

It's a bit long, I think the only place I'd have it on the trails would be in Gilbert, MN. I live about 30 minutes north of the twin cities - mostly going to bomb around on this and power slide the tires off it.

I looks like I could cut it down and just pull some links out of the chain and weld it back together - correct?

yeah you can but you will prolly need to move the shock mount as well

welcome to the forum. I actually like the looks of that swinger but it will be hard in the trails more for the dunes or drags.
