Corinth, Ms
dont mean to beat a dead horse here bc i know yall get asked all the time but what size jets would u recommend for my blaster? been lookin and every site i look at says the jets go by stages or whatever...my quad has a dg pipe uni filter and bored .40 over...help appreciated

maybe bump your main to a 250/260 max, a dg pipe isnt much more than a chromed stock pipe < flow wise, so doesnt require much more main jet
your stock 32.5 pilot, airscrew at 1.5 turns out, and stock needle in the middle clip position will be just fine

but...you should do plug chops to confirm/fine tune your jetting...........

when u say airscrew is that the screw on top of the carb when u lift the rubber like flap up under the seat???? if so i adjusted that a bit the other day bc it wasnt wanting to idle good...not sure i adjusted it right obviously tho

Agree with that^^^ However i will say when I first got my blasty, it had light porting work, rad valve, and open air box , DG pipe when i checked the carb the main was a 330? I never ran it like that as it sat for 5 years as it was very ruff and needed care! So i would do what AWK says and plug chop to be sure!

the airscrew on a 2 stroke carb adds air to the pilot circut, it is located right behind where the fuel line enters the carb, turn it in till it lightly bottoms out, then 1.5 turns out to start, you may adjust it by 1/8 to 1/4 turns till highest idle is acheived, and it will rev to 1/2 throttle smoothly

then adjust your idle with the idle screw under the rubber flap, under the seat, as you already did

The screw on top is the idle screw, it raise or lowers slide. Air screw in on left side of carb, towards air cleaner. Gently turn it clockwise until it lightly seats. Then turn counter-clockwise 1 1/2 turns. As mentioned these are only starting points, it's up to you to fine tune and test. Nothing else we can do from a keyboard.

man all this seems so complicated...everything seems to be just perfect on these things..granted i nvr owned a two stroke til now...but i do want to make sure i have everything set up right on it before i got out riding it much at all..thas why im asking and trying to figure it all out

GOOD IDEA! will save you a premature rebuild!

Don't beleive I've ever seen wrong info spewed without some major flap about it. It's not hard really. Most of the instructions you get here are better than a manual. Speaking of which either buy a Clymers or find the download on here. Also it will help tons just by reading threads to learn more about Blasters. Jetting/tuning and maintenance are the two biggest things to work on learning.
