Im new to the forum. New to the blaster world too. Owned plenty of 4 wheelers, dirt bikes, go karts, and raced motocross for years but never owned a blaster.

Let me know what you think of my trade. I had a 2001 warrior 350, got a good deal in it by trading an old 80's model kawasaki bayou for it. Although when i got it, it didnt have spark, spent 100's of dollars on new cdi box, stator, ignition coil. The whole nine yards except for wiring harness. Spent months trying to get it to run and never could so i posted it on craigslist looking to trade for something that ran. About a month later i finally got a good offer, a 2001 blaster 200 that ran. I did my research and found out the blasters are faster than the warriors due to the weight of the warriors.

A few days ago i met the guy and we traded. I gave him an extra warrior 350 motor that needed rings witch i had laying around to make the trade some what fair. I still feel like i got the good end of the deal.

It runs like a champ and clean as a whistle. The first image is the warrior witch is what i traded for the blaster.

Already got gears spinning and looking to build the motor and make it fast. Might get back into the racing scene and race this bad boy. Let me know how i did on the trade.

Yes, he said it just had a top end rebuild not sure how true that is but i can still see the gasket around the cylinder so i believe it may be true. Ill pull out the compression tester tomorrow and get some readings. Whats the ideal range for compression on these motors?

Looks very nice . Welcome to the blaster sickness! Leak down test it and go over it. Check everything. Its better to check and know for yourself everything is ok than to take someones word for it. Good luck!

Yeah i went through most of it yesterday. Changed the oil too. Good thing I did it was a little over full and im not sure how these blasters react to over filling but ive heard to many bad things about blowing seals by over filling.

It now has the correct amount and a fresh oil. Dont have to worry about that. It looked like brand new oil i was surprised. Im not really positive it was over full but looks like more than 650ml to me. Ill pour it into a jug tomorrow and check for sure.

It has the oil injection tank removed. The previous owner said he didn't trust the system and preferred mixing it himself. Where is the oil injected and what should i look for to see if it has the block off kit installed, or a home made one lol?
