going to take the plunge need help

Going to purchase a blaster next couple of days (they are plentiful). What are some things I should look for - as being bad and/or good? Looked at one today 2005 when out of gear it revved higher and higher as time went on. Engine just rebuilt, front tires almost w/out tread. Any help would be great.

we the bad is cracked motor mounts, bent frame / a arms and swing arm bushings and if it has good brakes

always check the compression....it should be 120 or more...lower than that and its goin to need a rebuild soon.

sounds like it has a air leak...i would stay away from that one
