Starting to get a little pissed. Its been 3 weeks since I dropped my blaster at the shop for a new top end. And of course it has been in the 70's every weekend since then. I WANT TO RIDE!

damn man that sucks! why didnt you do the top end yourself? mine blew up and im barely getting my cylinder back from the machine shop tomorrow since i got the piston friday. when i took it appart it looked pretty straight forward

The longer it sat the more I thought that I should have done it my self. I thought since the economy sucks so bad I would help the shop out some. l

Sooo, parts came in thursday afternoon. He said they would get it up on the lift late friday and knock it out saturday before 2pm. I thought sweet I can ride sunday. I go by about 4:30 saturday and they have not even started putting mine back together. He then told me they could have it back together by the first of the week. I didnt call or go by Monday but I did go by today for them to tell me they are still waiting on the wrist pin to get there. Why the f*ck didnt you tell me thursday that all the parts were not in yet rather than feed me some bullshit about when it will be ready?? I'm starting to get a little pissed.

And why the f*ck does a wiseco piston not come with the wrist pin?? Said that has to be ordered separate.

That sucks man.
When I was 12 my Honda XR80 set at the shop for 2 months it killed me.
They are prolly working on 4 strokes haha

dude get in there and tell them you want it done by tomorrow or you personaly will come in take it and all of your old parts out of there and do it yourself

That sucks, man! Hey, I don't usually do this, but I just Google mapped you, and you're only about an hour and a half north of me. If you get sick of the shop BS'ing you and just wanna take it back like it is, I'd be glad to help you get it running again!

Not gonna charge you any labor... I've worked on Blasters for awhile and hate to see a fellow Blaster Bro who can't ride. I might be able to make it up to your place on a weekend (this Sunday or ??) and help get things going again. If you're interested.

Thats awesome man I really appreciate it. It SHOULD be done today. Pretty sad that a friend of mine who was there picking up some parts had to call me and tell me they finally got it up on the lift.

Let me know when you want to ride we go up to Henderson to some old train tracks and ride for hours. Pretty cool place to ride. And of course we got to busco.

Ok, cool! I sure will! I'm from Hamlet, so its a bit of a drive for me even to Greensboro, but I definately want to get with it and go riding. Maybe hit Busco Beach or Henderson this spring.

My Blaster is currently torn-apart for all-new suspension and some engine work (possible 4mil 240 on the way...we'll see......:D ), but as soon as I get it done, you can bet I wanna go out and ride!

Well I got it back late last night. Now its supposed to rain all weekend! lol Every weekend they had it there it was in the 70s now that I got it back, rain.

^Life sucks!^ That's like me and my motorcycle...I thought I'd have it ready and on the road by now. Nope; I found out the starter was bad and I had a couple fuel leaks to fix, so I'm waiting on more parts to show up. Now its too cold down here to enjoy it for another month or so. Ugh. At least we're just getting into the riding season; plenty of time to get out and enjoy the trails during the coming months, even if you have to wait a little while...
