Well, I ordered a go pro on the 29th and it came today. I opened it and everything was there. Except, I thought on their website it said it came with 2 curved and 2 flat mounts but someone else told me that I might get 1 of each. I did. Anyways, I put the battery in and turn it on and am going through the menus when it just freezes. So, I take the battery out and put it back in. Now it wont turn on. I contacted go pro and they will respond in 1-2 days. Any suggestions. Thanks, BlastfromPast69.

do the software update on the go pro website. to get it to turn on, unplug the battery, then put it back in, then connect it to the computer while computer is on, and then hit the power button. updates can be found here:

GoPro Official Website: The World's Most Versatile Camera

i just updated mine today....

After I bought it i read some reviews and they all said if you get one that works its good,
Probably should have read the review first but YOLO lol

Put the battery in the right way and plug it into a wall for charging.
Try updating it (it freezes without updates)
If it doesnt connect to your computer, i suggest getting a new computer...
Dont send it back, all they will do is update it and ship it right back to you, then the next update and you will probably have the same problem...

The cameras only come with one of each mount, unless you buy more.
Also, the battery can go in backwards even if you have the strap out... Check it when you put it in
Try charging it for half hour from wall before you do anything else...

But, I will try again and charge it for half an hour, Btw anyone that can find a way that will work for ME will get REP. Thanks for the help so far though.

Maybe I will try it on another computer after the charge but id think its the comp.
F***ing lazy a** people at go pro cant update it before they deliver it i mean i only paid $214 for the thing. lol sorry for all the posts.
