Well all the wiring is there to use a battery. I will check on the stator for you.

There is some info on this site posted by phragle explaining how to make them work.If I remember right he had the stator re wound backwards to make dc voltage somehow. Neil needs them anyways.He is getting older than dirt and needs all the light he can at night to see:D

That's right. Don't want to hit any Unicorns on a dark trail. Lol.:D
 
Be easist to give him the stator with the floated ground, the wiring harness (since it was made specifically for the rectifier/battery) and rectifier. The rectifier is useless on a standard blaster.

Yeah that's what I planned on doing. How's your boat coming along?
 
Should have it finnished up this weekend. Had to redo pretty much the entire electric system. new trim tab actuator, new steering actuator, new trim pump, new bilge pump, new stereo and speakers, new stern light, new bilge blower, new seats, new seperate throtle and shifter with new mounting box, new trailer, the list goes on....
