Gearing question!

ok, i have 18 in tires in back and stock 13/40T sprockets. I wanna have torque but i also wanna have more speed than stock

then go with a bigger front sprocket if you want more top end power

yup, try stepping up to a 14t in the front OR a 38t in the rear for more top end,

You can't increase both at the same time. Go with the above for more top speed. Luckily Blasters have decent low end torque even after gearing changes.

I've tried a 42 rear for more torque/acceleration and it was fun (got up and went) but it really made for close together shifts. Decided to change back to stock.

Mine already accelerates too fast. maybe i should stick with stock rear sprocket and maybe move to 14 in front?

That's seems to be what most people do.
