Gear ratio

Hi guys,

Took the blaster out today for first ride since I got it,
My gear ratio is 13/40, I have turf tamer rear tyres which are
On the small side, I was up going up the gear box like a rat
Up a pipe & 1st gear is horrendous, what gear ratio's are people using for
Mx/enduro, I have seen 14 & 15 tooth from sprockets on eBay
Would 15 be to big a jump??

Do not dream of putting only a different sprocket on, the whole chain and sprocket combination should be changed.

You may find that fitting a 15 front with even a comparatively stretched chain, that the chain will ramp up the sprocket teeth and tear at the case.

A 15 could slow you down if you do not have the herbs to pull it.
