Hey I have a 1994 stock blaster(tore down to frame now), and im doin a full rebuild on it just wondering what you guys think. For the motor imma get it bored .080 over and put a stroker crank put in prolly with vito's reeds, and I really want a toomey exhust, but I might go for a fmf, what work would I need to have done to the carb(jetting ect.). Also prolly a +3 swinger, rear +5 spacers, and front; a-arms. Im at least gettin new rear plastics, and possibily fronts to, but im painting the plastics and hubs red and the frame and wheels black. I think the whole project will cost about $1000(minus swinger and a-arms). I already got a quote for the motor from tiger motorsports at $617. There in Ohio and im in Wisconsin, so im gonna get some prices from places by my house. How much power will I have? Will I beable to keep up with 400's?What do ya think? Any info or help would be great.

well first, i wouldnt bore your cylinder out any more then you need to, your only gaining like 3 cc's ,
and for jetting i would start at a 280 and go down

ok first of all i would not bore it .80 over unless it is needed to be bored that much. If you are on last bore and soemthing happened that u needed it bored agian but ur already at the cyclidner limit you would need to resleve or get a new cyclinder.

EDIT specialized u beat me to it

yeah the only reason why 80 over would feel faster is because its a fresh top end..
a standard bore blaster would be even with a 80 over blaster...
if i was you id talk to some of the engine builders on this site they are very good at what they do there screen names are.
FLOTEK, Kennedy_power, and Wildcard

there is no way to give you a answer on what kinda power you will gain. Without knowing what kind of port work will be done on the engine, also has there already been work done in your cylinder? has there been head work? what fuel do you want to run? all of these things play into a build. you may want to research all of these things before sending your engine off to have work done. carb, pipe are all going to depend on riding style and other small factors.
