Here's the deal. My stock blaster is bored with a new top end, new reeds, new plug, tors elimination and I just cleaned the carb and adjusted the float. It started up fine and idled fine when I didn't have the oil injection fitting blocked off on the carb (i premix my gas 32:1) but bogged down under load. So I thought i had the problem fixed when i plugged the fitting...Nope. Now it still starts first or second kick but i have to keep reving it because it just dies when it tries to return to idle. But when I rev it the revs stay high for a second or two and then return low and it just dies. If i keep the revs up and try to ride it just bogs and there's no power at all. What's going on???

leaktest

set the airscrew to 1.5 turns out, if turned in too far, or completely, that leans the pilot/idle circut and will cause hanging revs

is the carb slide installed the correct direction ?
the groove must line up with the pin inside the carb throat on the kicker side, or it will hang open.

Thanks for the replies guys... My bike is all stock. 230 main jet, 32.5 pilot, 1.5 out on the airscrew. I will be ordering a leak down tester asap!

Leak test and note:

Premix at 32:1 calls for one size larger main jet because of oil taking the place of fuel making the air fuel ratio gas lean.
