ok BF its time for me to pay it forward. I little while ago I was going through a ruff time with money and could not pay to become a supporting member. One member helped me out and payed for me to become a supporting member. All he asked is that I pay it forward. So what I am going to do is make a clear clutch cover for one or two people. All you need to do is PM me and tell me about your blaster and I will pick a member or members. The only thing I need from you is to send me your clutch cover and I will do the rest. This is my way of thanking everyone on BF for the help and the info and never giving be a rash of sh*t for asking so many questions. STAY COOL BF members

WTF? All you have is a purple dot for rep ? Ill have to fix that for you.

ok BF I had a bad clutch cover laying around. I guess I could have it repaired if I wanted to. but what I did was made another clear clutch cover with it. did it different this time and was able to make the looking hole bigger. but the reason I did this was to see how strong the lexan would be. Once I finished the clear clutch cover I took a hammer ad pounded on the center of the lexan. it didn't crack or break the only thing that happen was it nicked the lexan a little bit. so know I know and I call let BF know that 1/4 lexan is 100% strong enough to use.

yes locktight is a must. I don't use nuts on the back I drill and tap holes. And I use ultra black silicone gasket maker to seal everything. but I think im going to switch to the ultra copper. I believe its better but im not sure. I was also thinking about getting gasket material and trying it that way as well. What do you all think I should use.

I use gasket material and prermatex high temp, it's oil and gas resistant.

thanks fellas I will use gasket material rather than sealant. I used sealant on mine and it doesn't leak. But im going to redo it when I get gasket material.

you use locktight on the bolts also for the lexan? lol im just addicted to lockitight, I use it on everything lol

Be very wary of using Loctite on everything, it messes with torque settings as it acts as a lubricant until it cures.

Unless specified, all fastenings that require a specified torque should be fitted clean and dry.
