My boy has a 2005 blaster. The frame is slightly bent... i found a frame from a older one but not sure on the year. Im guessing 95 or so. Will that frame work on a 05? Ive read you have to weld a bracket for the rear brake resivor. But what about headlight brackets? And alfo heard the foot pegs may not bolt up to the older frame. Anyone have more expierence in this?

you can carefully cut the welds holding the brackets to your current frame and weld them onto the new frame, be sure the master cylinder is mounted to it's bracket and connected to the pedal, before welding any of the brake brackets, to insure correct alignment.
(tack weld bracket and remove master before full welding)

best option is to just adjust the tie rods on the current frame, so it drives straight. until you find a reasonbly priced 03+ frame

Its bent beyond simply adjusting tie rods. Toe in/out is ok but frame is bent behind a arms pretty good. Welding new brackets or fab new ones is not a big deal for me. Thanks for the help guys!

footpegs are the same except the pivot point for the brake pedal.
any footpeg will bolt to any year frame, i have 01 pegs on an 06 frame
