So I got my Raptor 250 Heelguards today. They are like new and came with the pegs. The pegs are 1 3/4" wide. I would love to run these in place of the stock 1" pegs but the brackets are not even close to the same. I am thinking about cutting off the mounts and either bolting these to my stock pegs or having them welded to them but I am wondering if they would be too wide (2 3/4" :o) then to be comfortable. I really want to use them but dont want to butcher them if I wont be comfortable. Any wone else running wide pegs?? How wide??

i think the bolt holes will line up, so zip ty's wont be needed
i have a set just like yours from a yfz, and will be doing this shortly
i dont think they will be too wide

Yes the bolt holes line up and so do the ridges in the top of the pegs. I think it will actually work out really well but I dont have huge feet so my only concern is if its gonn be a pain in the a** every time I go to shift. Not sure if my heel is gonna catch on the peg when I try to reach the shifter. I guess since I dont really have much invested in them I will just cut off the Raptor mounts and bolt them on. If they are too wide I have an extra set of stock pegs that I could do the same with.

Another thing that helped me soooooo much is boot cleats. They bolt right up to the side of your peg and prevent your foot from slipping and sliding. It helps me alot when landing a jump or in whoops when your feet wanna go all over.

Gonna have to look for a set of those.

Yeah Idk if a company makes them or if they were custom made but I got them on off another Blaster along with one of Taters swing arms. They bolt right through the peg and they look like claws that come off the peg diagnoly. They keep your feet from slipping off the peg and it makes movement alot easier. If you zoom in on my signature picture you can see them right on the pegs.
