FMF or PRO CONP PIPE

Ok. I looked at LRD.$400.Need to know more on it.Is it better then Toomey and how it performs.People talked my out of getting an FMF pipe.So if i'm going to save up for a good one I need to know what will be best for me.Plan on doing mild hop up's for now.Sorry if I'm bugging by asking about so much stuff.I just don't want to go down the wrong road when it come's to hopping up my Blaster.I don't want to a bunch of parts that don't work together.

The pipe you get will depend on mods you currently have and future mods

You want to build around your pipe

Shearer,or toomey is going to be the pipe for you

I agree a Shearer,or toomey is going to be the pipe for you. Shearer is a mid to low end pipe and toomey is a mid to top end pipe, so choose were you want your power and pick one. I'd pick the toomey but thats just me...

fmf isnt bad if you are only doing minor bolt ons (airfilter. exhaust etc) if you plan on doing some major engine work like porting and milling the head big bore any of that then fmf isnt good. but if your just a weekend rider on a low budget and you dont have excessive engine work i would say go for it. yeah sure having lrd and f7 would be great but if its not in your budget its a dumb idea. my friend has an fmf pipe and it made a noticeable difference and its def worth the money.

right but what iv'e been tryin to get across to u guys is that u can find a shearer cheaper than an fmf!!! i mean sure go find a used fmf on egay but ur better of spendin 10 more $$'s on a shearer or an extra 20-40 $$'s on a toomey............. my 2 cents

im strictly refering to used, ive seen very good condition used fmf complete setups for about 120 shipped. the shearer in crap material ( i dont even think its chrome) is 285.

im going by what ive heard. i havent seen shearer in person but they sell a more expensive pipe in "show chrome" so im assuming the $285 isnt as nice of a finish
