Flywheel removal

Hey guys trying to get my flywheel bolt loose and having a hell of a time getting the bolt loose..What do or can you use to hold flywheel to loosen bolt..Thanks for any help..Kurt

You can use one of those strap wrenches. Snapon,
Craftsman any cheap tool place usually has them.

i used a screwdriver, placed it through one of the two holes on the outside of the flywheel, then carefully turn the flywheel by hand with the screwdriver in the hole, there is one spot which the screwdriver will drop down further into a space on the backside, asts as a wedge. then unscrew the nut with your wrench. goodluck

Zip it off with an impact wrench, or use this, you'll need it to torque it correctly any way!

you can use a car oil filter tool to hold it. thats what i did

You can take out the spark plug and turn the piston up to almost the top of its stroke. Then feed in rope til its full. The piston can't go up and you can loosen the nut up. You can put it back on using the same method.

lol. thats too much work. put it in gear. rap the wrench with a hammer, or have someone hold the brake.

anyone use aftermarket flywheels does it do anything?
